To protect the privacy of the visitors ("You/Your") to the Oasis House web site at www.oasisforwomen.org, and those that provide paper submissions, Oasis House ("We/Us") has developed this Privacy Policy explaining our online and in-house information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW IT IS USED

Information collected via your online donation is secured by our payment gateways; PayPal, Vanco, Stripe, and Venmo. Your contact information is used to issue you a receipt and to keep you informed about the impact your support is making with Oasis House. This information is never shared. You may opt out of future contact at any time or request your gift remain anonymous by emailing us or calling our office.

Information collected online as you register for our events or to be a volunteer is collected and stored in a secure database. Any mailed or printed copies are stored in our office under lock and key. This information is never shared.

OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY

The security of your personal information is important to us. Firewalls, data encryption, and physical access controls are utilized when transmitting sensitive information to our payment gateways. All of the payment gateways we use are Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant. We do not receive and therefore do not store any credit card information or bank account information from the payment gateways. Checks and cash received by us are logged into our secure donor database (contact information and amount) and immediately deposited into our bank account.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change Our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our website home page located at www.oasisforwomen.org, with a link to the updated policy at www.oasisforwomen.org/privacy.cfm (this page).

EXCEPTIONS TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We will make exceptions to this privacy policy without notification if compelled to share information by court order.
